School Workshops

The world is a confusing place, particularly for young people. They need support to navigate through and make sense of the mass of messages and interactions encountered on a daily basis.

To tackle these issues, we run interactive well-being workshops.

Our workshops enable students to understand themselves and their emotions so they can self-regulate, create their own self-care strategies and connect to those around them in a healthy way.

Workshop Outcomes

We have a ‘do, not tell’ approach, which means our workshops are discussion and activity based, and equip young people with a tool kit of strategies to implement throughout their life.

Students will learn:

  • To understand who they are, their thoughts, emotions and actions
  • How to self-regulate their emotions and create a toolkit of self-care strategies
  • Meditation and mindfulness techniques to produce calm and clarity
  • How to build mental strength and resilience
  • How to connect and communicate with others, through respect and compassion
  • How to become an active citizen in their community and use their voice for positive change

For more outcomes, see below for our workshop options.

Workshop Packages

We offer a package of 3 workshops that that are presented in consecutive order. We can facilitate all 3 workshops in one day or we can spread them out over a short period of time (Maximum 6 months). If you don’t wish to book all 3 workshops, then we suggest booking ‘Understanding Yourself’ and taking it from there.

For more information on what is covered in each workshop please fill out the contact form on our contact page.

About

This workshop focuses on enabling young people to understand and connect to who they are. This will include looking at the belief systems that they hold about themselves and how these are created, with a focus on social pressure, self-doubt, diversity and fear of judgement.

The aim of the workshop is to help young people understand themselves deeper and connect to who they truly are and who they want to become. Young people will walk away with a sense of newfound identity and strong self-belief. Students will learn to understand and manage their thoughts, emotions and actions. We focus on building self-love and mental strength.

This will be achieved through group discussion and activities, personal reflection and writing time. The activities we facilitate ask students to be vulnerable and dig deep to create change in their life and the world around them.
